Kristin has traveled extensively around the world where she honed her eye and trademark ability to create visual texture with a rich, adventurous color palette, and expressive techniques. Her work is processed based and tends to lean towards control and intuition. Based on her surroundings Kristin expresses herself through the markings on her work. Her geometric paintings were created during a time when precise plans gave her a sense of control. Where as her expressionistic paintings pour out when intuition and senses prevail. Her rain series gives up complete control to the universe. After several years in London, she has moved to the Washington, DC.
