Pedro Correa

Spanish artist and photographer Pedro Correa has a diverse body of work which has garnered him worldwide acclaim. The artist’s impressionistic urban photography is influenced by his painting background, injecting emotion into what he terms the ‘decisive moment’ of photography.

EDUCATION AND CAREER

Beginning his artistic journey with a degree in oil painting from the Royal Academy of Beaux Arts in Brussels, Correa quickly took the world of contemporary photography by storm. He has exhibited his urban fine art prints at group and solo shows, in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Singapore and London.

In 2018, Correa completed a PhD in Image Processing at University College London, where he studied the technical aspects of fine art photography. This training can be seen in the unique approach of Pedro Correa photography to artistic cityscape photos, combining emotional complexity with urban reality.

Correa’s fine art training is evident in his masterful experimentation with light, composition and ephemeral subjects.
