Kate Lowe made it to the final round for the BBC Arts Show called The Big Painting Challenge in 2015.
Kate has studied at several well known London Art Colleges including Central St Martins and Heatherley's.
Kate lives and works in west London with her husband, three children and a perpetually dirty dog.

Canadian artist Kate Lowe creates work centred around the tensions of the human condition. Integrating elements of painting, collage, typography and photography, Kate’s work is driven by narrative. Kate combines personal experiences and identity with a wider commentary on social structures. Her visual language is both diverse and compelling, and Kate’s style spans from figurative representation to an Impressionist aesthetic. Cityscapes and urban motifs characterise so much of Kate’s work, from scenes of chaos, to quieter, more intimate observations.
