Fabian Hub, born in 1988 in Mainz, lives and works in Berlin. He studied Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), where he graduated in 2019 as a master student (Meisterschüler) under Prof. Thomas Zipp.
Hub has received various scholarships and awards, including the Painting Prize of the Schulz-Stübner Foundation. In 2018, he spent three months as an artist-in-residence at Christoph Schlingensief’s Opera Village Africa in Burkina Faso. He has also participated in residency programs in Norway, Finland, and Poland.
Since 2014, Fabian Hub’s work has been presented regularly in numerous group and solo exhibitions in various locations, including Berlin, Mexico City, and Basel (see exhibition list on the website).
