Delphine Dessein

Delphine Dessein was born in the north of France in Lille. Very early on, she was passionate about drawing, painting and colors. She followed a training in arts-platics and obtained a license at the Faculty of Tourcoing then she followed a year of courses at the Fine Arts in Dunkirk. In 2011, she was drawn up by the Elly's restaurant in Saint-Raphaël to organize her first personal exhibition! Subsequently, she participated in several collective and individual exhibitions. Today, Delphine finds a balance between her northern roots and her love for the Var region. Nematoids are ambivalent filiform beings that are sometimes harmful, sometimes beneficial, in analogy with man. In search of a boom, an elevation, an "elsewhere". In their hypnotic eyes appears their vision of the world. In round spirals for some, these mountain nematoids symbolize calm and serenity. In rectangular or square spirals for others, these plains nematoids represent enmity as well as aggressiveness. Their cries are even deafening!
