Eugen Dick

German painter, Eugen Dick reveals a colorful universe where he deploys his palette to give life to large shimmering and saturated portraits, delivering singular look and facial expressions to each. Artist from an early age Eugen Dick lives and works in Germany. He was very interested in painting very early on, painting his first portrait at the age of 8 and his first oil on canvas at 13 years old. He followed an apprenticeship with local artists in order to perfect his technique before studying architecture. In 2005, he became a full -time painter. The portrait as a revealer of emotions Eugen Dick was interested in the portrait technique during his studies. Particularly inspired by female faces, he seeks to transcribe their complex emotions. Their intense and fixed gaze challenges the observer who is as hypnotized. The artist works most of the time on canvases of large formats, with acrylic, with flatness of colors applied to the spatula.
