Isabelle Joubert, a visual artist based in Chambéry, draws her inspiration from the deep interconnectedness between nature and her place as a woman in this world. Through a work that combines paintings, embroidery, drawings, and collages, she sensitively explores the elements of the natural world, exalting their beauty while highlighting the importance of living in harmony with it. Her works, delicate and imbued with poetry, are part of an eco-responsible approach, valuing materials recovered with the aim of "zero waste." Isabelle particularly loves watercolor for its fluidity, as well as cotton thread and linen, which she uses in her embroideries to infuse a tactile dimension into her creations. She also reuses small scraps of paper, transformed into poetic shapes, bearing a second life. Attentive to the purity of colors, Isabelle studies her palettes based on the natural colors observed in nature, in her garden, or even in her kitchen. Through her creations, Isabelle Joubert invites a sensitive dialogue with nature, a celebration of its fragility and strength, while cultivating a reflection on our way of inhabiting the world.
