Emilie Lagarde

After a short formation in art (Literary Bac Literary Art and Plastic Art at Paul Valéry University in Montpellier) Emilie Lagarde, fully embraces her career as an artist. She currently lives in Tours and has her workshop in La Morinerie de Saint-Pierre des Corps (former factory which brings together artists' workshops). The work of Emilie Lagarde revolves around memory and dream. The sub -woods and forests, recurring places at home, are the sets of strange strong scenes. Fantasmagoric figures and predatory wild animals are the main protagonists of these paintings, who come to erase or emerge from these dark places. Emilie Lagarde's painting is the expression of her memories, questions, fears and dreams.
