Pernille Frimand

Pernille Frimand is a Danish artist based in Copenhagen.

Her choice of sensitive motifs created with a powerful balanced color palette gives the special expression that is characteristic of Pernille's art. The aesthetics of form and color are important to create a whole in her works.

Always being curious is the nerve in Pernille's creative work, and is based on impressions and learning from life.

Look closely, and in some works you may encounter a beast peeking out from among the trees, or perhaps a house standing upside down.

The canvas is the stage where a silent drama unfolds.There is always something going on under the surface.

Education: Pernille Frimand has a background within graphic design, and has worked with corporate design and development in marketing and business companies. She has studied art history at the Copenhagen University, and has gained training lessons in art classes at Art Colleges in Denmark.

Exhibitions: Pernille Frimand's art works has been exhibited in a number of censored exhibitions and group shows.

In november 2022 she gained a 3rd prize at the Roskilde Open exhibiton.
