"My work is inspired by the complex relationship between nature and what it means to be human in our contemporary world. To seek and discover meaning in unexpected ways. I have found, you can not have a complete understanding of joy without sadness; happiness without sorrow or beauty without an edge. Therefore, a thread of contrasting emotions in my work is always present to bring these complexities into the foreground...this is what makes the work feel like visual poetry."
