Aykaz Arzumanyan

Painter and plastic artist, & nbsp; Aykaz Arzumanyan likes to explore techniques and materials. Wicked out day after day to deliver canvases of infinite meticulousness, he created his own style which he invests in force and mystery. Jamous far from the Artaykaz Arzumanyan & nbsp; was born in Armenia in Yerevan in 1977. It was at the foot of Mount Ararat where Noah failed his ark that he spent his whole childhood. As a teenager, he follows his parents abroad. Throughout his career, he accompanies artists, organizes international exhibitions. His eye is refined and his sensitivity increases. Their contact gives birth in him the desire to create. In 2004, after several trips to France he decided to settle there. He abandons his job as a lawyer and launches body and soul in artistic creation. Author of his own style the Aykaz Arzumanyan is a laboratory: even if he invented his own style which allows him to express what he feels, he continues his research. He has no right to make mistakes: each touch of paint is applied with his knife on the canvas with the precision of a watchmaker. At the slightest false-pass, it is the whole canvas which is to be taken up. The exceptional meticulousness with which he works there should not prevent him from filling his work of feelings and mystery. For this, time is his ally: as soon as he feels his arm tremble, he stops, puts his knife and will only return to the book completely available to his painting. Depending on the position of the sun's rays, the relief of each touch of color deposits its shadow on the neighboring touch and is played out on its shades. At every moment of the day, his works smile at you differently. To read interview: Aykaz Arzumanyan, life is a rose
