The Art of Slow Looking
This art collection draws inspiration from the profound dialogue between contemporary artist David Hockney and Renaissance master Piero della Francesca. Celebrating Hockney's enduring fascination with historical art, the collection explores themes of perspective, emotion, and observation through works that echo and reinterpret Piero's iconic "The Baptism of Christ." Emphasising the practice of "slow looking," it invites viewers to delve deep into the connections between past and present, reflecting on the timeless power of art to connect people across centuries.
