Emerging Artist

Mark Tamer is a London-based photographer working with analogue photographic techniques often using broken cameras, out-of-date film and old photographic paper. His practice explores the tension between chance and control, construction and destruction, signal and noise, and, ultimately, life and death. He embraces the accidents and imperfections within the process, seeing them as reminders of our shared vulnerability and the fragile nature of existence.
