Jean-Yves Verne started his artistic practice in the 80s, with drawing and modeling sessions at the Genève Visual Arts School. He then attended the Ferney Voltaire academy workshop, from his origin, and for twenty years. Since his activity is concentrated in the crowded space with a thousand things, which takes the place of workshop. It alternates techniques in 2 or 3 dimensions. Acrylic and inks, on canvases and other supports give up by period the priority to various materials such as porcelain, wire, wood, paper, & nbsp; electronic components, cements, & nbsp; resins ... , implemented in the sculptures. He does not refrain from any support or technique in his research. The whole composes distant staging, both in sculpture and in painting. Figuration is a constant.
