"Olivia's experience as a graphic designer is the foundation of her approach. The confrontation with materials became concrete in 2007 following her meeting with a metal craftsman: steel would be her first medium.

Balance and imbalance, heaviness and lightness, fullness and emptiness, hardness and softness, coldness and warmth of materials are the contradictions from which Olivia draws her energy and inspiration. It is the guiding thread that contributes to a construction often geometric and structured, flat or in volume, sometimes leaning towards architecture where repeated shapes come together, or where materials of different natures intertwine.

A palette of materials that expands and lightens over the course of her stays in exotic countries and that calls for initiation into new techniques, to enhance what nature offers us, to question our relationship with this fabulous wealth that we must preserve. Thus, a dialogue is established with the plant world, a living and inspiring material.
