Eric Durant

Even if he started with the drawing, Eric Durant quickly turned to engraving and in particular the linocut which he favors as a mode of expression. Plural artist, it is through engraving that he manages to reconnect with nature and to recharge his batteries. Like a true craftsman, he mixes the work of the gesture with an artistic sensitivity that cannot escape us from the eyes of his works. We are caught up in this movement which emanates from its nevertheless limited but so deep frames.
