Altone Mishino
After studying calligraphy then at the fine arts of Paris in the monumental painting workshop of the painter Olivier Debré, more than thirty exhibitions since 1986 from Paris to New York via Moscow to the Museum of Decorative Arts, then Alongside Pierre Soulages in the exhibition "Art at home" in 2005 and during the year of France in China where he exhibited within the Forbidden City, Altone Mishino continues his research around a sensitive extrapolation sign and painted trace.
Mixture between gestural neo-basting and oriental tradition of composition, search for a minimalist essentiality of "painted gesture". The confrontation between his abstract referents such as Robert Motherwel, Frantz Kline, Sam Francis or Pierre Soulages and the tradition of Zen masters gives a singular pictorial expression where fulgurances and immobilities are trapped.
From February 2018 a new adventure begins with the collaboration with the Rauchfeld gallery in Paris, the opportunity to discover the works of the series grouped under the name of "Dark Paintings"
