Maddie Webb is a contemporary British painter whose work explores the emotional resonance of landscape through a nuanced blend of abstraction and atmosphere. Working primarily in oil, she creates layered, immersive paintings that evoke memory, mood, and the shifting presence of place. Her practice is rooted in a deep sensitivity to light, weather, and the in-between moments where land, sea, and sky dissolve into one another.
Maddie holds a Master’s degree in Fine Art (2024) and is an Associate Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA). Her recent series investigates the quiet power of stillness and space, drawing on both internal states and the natural world for inspiration. Her process is intuitive, slow, and meditative—building glazes over time to create subtle depth and tonal harmony.
Based in Leamington Spa, Maddie is also a co-founder of Lighthaus Arts CIC, a not-for-profit arts organisation dedicated to accessibility and community-led creativity. Her dual role as artist and arts educator informs a practice that is both personal and socially engaged.
Her works are held in private collections across the UK and internationally.
