The conversation between objects is one of Grivet’s favourite themes. In this work, the artist seeks to merge background and form through the use of lines and rhythms, as well as colour. The focus is on creating a tangy, joyful colour palette, occasionally slightly offbeat. The viewer is invited to explore the entire canvas freely. This still life painting combines oil applied with brushes, knives or oil sticks. Some areas are treated in flat tones, others in glazes.
