Aidan Myers

Aidan Myers is a contemporary British artist based between London and Cardiff, primarily working between painting and drawing and exploring themes around human relationship to nature.

Myers has presented solo exhibitions in Cardiff, Wales (2023, 2021, 2018 and 2016) and Stroud, UK (2016); he has been included in gallery and artist-led group shows/projects internationally.

In 2025 Myers was awarded the Leverhulme Arts Scholarship to study MA Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School. In 2021 he was a recipient of the Artist Support Pledge 'Surfaces Award' and in 2017 he received first prize at the Oriel Cric Open in Wales.

Notably he travelled to India for Artist Residencies in 2024 and 2018 which significantly underpins his inquiry into landscape as a subject matter and moved the direction of his work away from abstraction.

Myers has produced public commissions in Wales for Grange University Hospital (2021), Llandough Hospital (2018) & Heath Hospital (2017).

Artworks are held in public and private collections in the UK, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Moldova, New Zealand and USA.
