Daniel Coleman (b.1994, Armagh) is an Irish Artist based in the North of Ireland and is a studio holder of QSS, Belfast. He has exhibited extensively since graduating with First Class honours in Fine Art Painting from the Belfast School of Art (2016). Selected galleries include, The RHA Gallery, Dublin, F.E. McWilliam Gallery & Studio, Banbridge, Down, The MAC, Belfast, CCA, Derry, Arcade Studios, Belfast, Lavit Gallery, Cork, Ballinglen Arts Foundation and Museum, Mayo, Ards Arts Centre, Newtownards, Down, Periphery Space, Wexford, National University of Ireland, Galway, Courthouse Gallery & Studios, Clare, Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, Belfast, QSS, Belfast, Platform Arts, Belfast, Catalyst Arts, Belfast and the Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast. Daniel is the recipient of The Hennessy Craig Award (2026), the Interface Inagh Residency Award, Connemara, Galway, supported by An Chomhairle Ealaíon (2024), the SIAP Award supported by the ACNI (2023) and the RHA/ Áras Éanna Residency Award, Inis Oírr, Galway (2021). He was nominated for the Arts Foundation Futures Award for Visual Art (2026) and was longlisted for the John Moores Painting Prize (2025). His work can be found in public and private collections throughout Ireland (including the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Office of Public Works Dublin), UK (London) and USA (Boston). In addition to his own practice as an Artist, he is a Teacher of Art & Design, Media, Moving Image Arts and SEN.
