John Heywood-Waddington

John Heywood-Waddington holds an M.A. in Fine Art from City and Guilds of London Art School (2022).

He earned his first B.A. (Hons) degree in Media Arts from Royal Holloway, London University (1999), where he studied film and tv, writing and directing short films.  

He has exhibited his work in numerous shows, from a group collective show ‘Alternative’ at the Menier Chocolate Factory (2018), to ‘Seven Artists at Seven Stratton’, with fellow CGLAS graduates, in Mayfair (2023). 

John has also been featured in group exhibitions in Piccadilly with Koppel Project X (2022), and more recently at the Green and Stone Winter Exhibition, the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition at the Mall Galleries the Hampstead Art Society Winter Exhibition (all in 2025) and the Pastel Society Exhibiton(2026).

A member of the art collective Dreamscapes, his work was featured in their group show Chimeras in XYZ Gallery in Chancery Lane in 2025, and, most recently, he collaborated with another collective Les Trois for a group show at hARTSlane Gallery.

Primarily a painter, his interests and experience extend to other art forms such as film-making, poetry, sculpture, print-making and writing.
