Diego Vallejo-García

Diego Vallejo García is a Spanish figurative painter whose work explores the human figure and social relationships through a contemporary aesthetic that combines technical rigor with introspective sensitivity. Holding a degree in Art History from the University of Salamanca, Vallejo has developed a solid artistic career both nationally and internationally.

His paintings have been exhibited at significant art events such as Art Madrid’25 and Art Madrid’26, where he presented key works within the general program through Galería Shiras (Valencia), bringing his practice to collectors and specialized audiences. He has also participated in major group exhibitions of contemporary art, including the 1st Competition of Young Spanish Realist Artists organized by the Museum of Contemporary Spanish Realism (MUREC), where his painting Blue Silence received the Diputación de Almería Award.

Throughout his career, Vallejo García has received numerous awards recognizing both his technical excellence and artistic vision. Among his most notable distinctions are the First Prize at the 29th Algemesí City Painting Competition (Valencia), as well as awards at national painting contests.
