Beatriz Salazar

Beatriz lives in Manhattan Beach, CA with her husband and three rescue dogs. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Architecture. Her early professional journey began in the field of architecture, which later expanded into real estate development and construction project management. These transitions allowed her to explore a range of skills and perspectives, but despite her success, she found herself yearning for more creative fulfillment.

Her path eventually led her back to her roots in art, where she reconnected with her passion for working with her hands.

Guided by her love for texture, color, and the natural world, Beatriz’s work explores the intersection of imagination and authenticity, resulting in pieces that are as vibrant and dynamic as her own journey. Beatriz channels inspiration from nature, vibrant color palettes, and her deep connection to intuition, the subconscious and creative flow states. Her materials of choice have evolved from carving concrete to carved wood and poly iso foams coated in cement, plaster and lime wash paints.
