Sébastien Dominici is a contemporary artist born in 1978 in Bastia, Corsica. Coming from the surf and skate culture of the 1990s, he develops a multidisciplinary work that combines painting, drawing, installation, photography, video, and sound. His visual language is marked by the use of personal symbols, annotations, and strong atmospheres, oscillating between intimate narration and social critique. By transposing a marginal and sensory lifestyle into the field of art, he questions our time, our beliefs, and the impact of dominant systems. Between raw aesthetics and commitment, his work explores themes related to ecology, collective memory, and the friction zones between dominant culture and counterculture.
