Aliaksandr Biruk

Aliaksandr Biruk is an artist and painter. Born in Minsk in 1992 . Currently lives and works in Warsaw. His first education was in painting. Higher education received in the profession of monumental decorative painting.

The author views the universal and objective through the lens of inner myth, through the subjective and unconscious - but which is a psychological response to physical reality with all its complexity and contradiction. The artist's work is influenced by his training in monumental art, and as a result, painting is positioned as “creating an environment” for mind existence, being and reflection.

Aliaksand's painting is centered on the themes of poetic experience of oneself in the world, connections with nature and the body. Biruk's work can be viewed through the prism of psychology and therapy. His works are immersed in symbolism, archetypes and emotional states, which are related to themes of self-discovery, search for identity and inner conflicts.

In 2024 he received the Gaude Polonia scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.

His works are in private collections in the USA, Belarus, Germany, Thailand, UAE, Ukraine, Georgia.

Aliaksand is the author of several solo and group exhibitions. He has also done several large monumental projects as a muralist.
