Aline Gaiad

Aline Gaiad is a London-based painter, raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in a family of artists and collectors. She began her early career as a photojournalist, traveling her home country and developing her photographic eye. Born in 1979, Gaiad creates playful and personal domestic scenes, drawing inspiration from her everyday life. Her home and studio blend seamlessly, reinforcing this connection. Her passion for art and interiors was nurtured by her family, with her great-grandfather and grandfather being artists, and her parents passionate about design and art collecting. She particularly enjoys cosy, visually stimulating interiors that house sophisticated art and design. Gaiad has exhibited her work in London, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, and other locations.
