Ayaïro

Ayaïro is an artist born in Tokyo in 1991, known for her series of works depicting children running in a nature-rich satoyama. Inspired by the local landscapes she has known firsthand since childhood, Ayaïro explores the interactions between nature and human beings.

In his works, Ayaïro creates a pop and nostalgic universe using simple elements and bright colors. She depicts nostalgic scenes that evoke childhood memories, while using psychedelic imagery to depict the illusory expressions of nature.

Ayaïro chose the simple theme of satoyama to express the fragmentary memories of his childhood discoveries. She thus creates a world merging nostalgia and novelty, where poetic images of the Japanese landscape mix with elements of popular culture.
