Brigitte Dravet

Brigitte Dravet is a French visual artist, based in Toulon on the Côte d'Azur, facing the Mediterranean which inspires the essence of her work. Her works are exhibited in France and internationally. Trained in visual arts, daughter of an architect father and a watercolorist mother, she has long combined her artistic practice with a parallel career in care (sophrology, relaxation). She paints light, sculpts presence. Her works, rooted in the wabi-sabi aesthetic, blend acrylic, structural plaster, gold leaf, and rust effects. Her minimalist landscapes, inspired by the Mediterranean and the sky, invite inner contemplation. The great masters of Asian arts from whom she draws inspiration call this impulse "the breath," which animates nature in its evident truth. The gold emerging from the depths evokes the soul of the invisible. Represented by Galerie Art72 in Singapore and by Carré d'Artistes (The Hague), she is also present on Singulart (Platinum), Artsper, and ArtMajeur. Eleven of her works are permanently installed in the lobby of "Plaza on Brickell" in Miami. Her collectors are mainly based in the United States and Germany. Committed to upcycling, she transforms abandoned mannequins into unique sculptures, carrying a message of beauty and sustainability. Each work reminds us that a radiant light remains, even in darkness.
