Blue Chip Artist

Mr Doodle, whose real name is Sam Cox, is a British artist born in 1994 and specialized in Doodle Art. From the age of nine, he became passionate about drawing by doodling in his notebooks and on the walls of his room. The artist then created his own universe: Doodle Land. His world is populated by dense groups of characters, objects, and patterns that multiply in a style he describes as "spaghetti graffiti".

Mr Doodle chose his artist name as naturally as his passion manifested: in English, "doodle" means "scribbles". Already known in his circle for drawing everywhere he could, he wanted to be recognized as "the man with the scribbles" in the eyes of the public. Thus, Mr Doodle was born, ready to decorate the world with his Doodle Art reminiscent of the works of the leading figure of pop art, Keith Haring.

Doodle Art to Bring to Life Mr Doodle's Childhood Dream

Mr Doodle's "spaghetti graffiti" style is eccentric and extravagant. At the crossroads of pop art, cartoons, and the graffiti characteristic of the early Street Art of New York. The artist creates in each of his works a playful and joyful universe that reflects his childlike spirit.

Mr Doodle takes great care never to take himself too seriously, whether he is drawing on the smallest piece of paper or on immense surfaces. The artist's goal is simple: to have fun and bring joy to those who observe his mischievous artworks.

The Doodle House: A House Turned Canvas and an Ambitious Artwork

No canvas is big enough for the passion for drawing that drives Mr Doodle. His most famous work is proof of this: the artist has undertaken to decorate his entire house with black and white doodles, from floor to ceiling, from furniture to bed sheets. The Doodle House is thus a childhood dream come true and an absolutely unique work of art.

This performance, captured in a stop-motion video shared on social media, allowed Keith Haring's heir to see his notoriety greatly increased among the general public in France as well as the rest of the world. He now lives in the Doodle House with his wife, Mrs Doodle. The ambitious artist aims to recreate similar works in other houses and someday expand his concept to an entire city.

A Drawing Style That Adapts to All Mediums

Gradually, color has made its way into his usual black and white work, bringing to life bright works like his famous red heart, Pop Heart – Holding Hand, his canvas Doodle Hug, or his sculpture of Mickey Mouse.

Far from the paper of his notebooks and the walls of his childhood, Sam Cox's Doodle Art now adapts to all mediums. He is one of those artists who love to break the frame to let Doodle Art express itself everywhere. Paper, canvas, walls, furniture, all kinds of objects, clothing… for Mr Doodle, the whole world is a canvas.

The street artist diversifies his pop art works through numerous collaborations: a Mickey Mouse sculpture for Disney, fashion clothing and accessories, the walls of a subway in Hong Kong, or the collector's edition of the album This World by artist Sylvano… Mr Doodle leaves his playful signature wherever he goes.
