Tarli’s work captures the pulse of the places she moves through—cities buzzing with grit and colour, landscapes humming with quiet energy. Guided by a love of travel and discovery, she draws inspiration from both built and natural environments, translating them through bold lines, vibrant palettes, layered textures, and intricate patterns. Her intuitive approach blurs the boundary between abstraction and representation, reimagining familiar spaces in unexpected ways.
At the heart of her practice is a striking contrast in materials. She pairs the immediacy of spray paint and acrylics with the slow, tactile rhythm of hand sewing. This push and pull between speed and craft gives her work a unique textural richness and sense of movement.
Creativity has always been part of Tarli’s world. Growing up with an artist mother, she spent countless hours experimenting in the studio—a foundation that continues to fuel her innovative practice today. After completing her Master of Fine Art at Monash University in Melbourne, she has built a dynamic presence in the Australian art scene, exhibiting regularly in galleries across the country.
