Christiane Lohrig was born in Saarbruecken in 1958. In 1988 she graduated from the University of Applied Science, and obtained her degree in Architecture. Lohrig`s works can be compared to a balancing act between colour and shape abstraction and object. Beeing a collector of things as well as a passionate observer of daylife she always finds herself in situations, which later find their way into her most diverse artworks. Lohrig meets the Spirit of the Mainstream Generation in an aesthetic and contemporary Way
