These works elevated his reputation, earning nominations from prestigious institutions such as The Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and The Royal Institute of Portrait Painters, and securing a place at the renowned Mall Gallery in London. In 2019, James' artistry reached international acclaim when he showcased at The London Biennale, receiving praise from The International Contemporary Art Curators, who hailed him as a significant voice of his time. James' accolades include first prize at The London Biennale, The Giotto International Prize, and The Leonardo da Vinci International prize.
