Gina Parr

Gina Parr is a UK-born artist who paints abstract pieces. Her work is metaphorical and ambiguous. “It explores the human condition,” the artist explains, “through connections to place, space and memory”. Gina finds much of her inspiration in the landscape of Devon, where she’s based. Not just the physical landscape, but the landscape of emotions, memories and relationships that exists for her there.

The artist trained in Fine Art before pursuing Set Design. She went on to become a senior set
designer for the BBC and spent 25 years working in the theatre and film industries.

Since returning to visual art in 2007, Gina has exhibited her work at galleries and art fairs throughout the UK. Her paintings are held in collections worldwide, from Keble College Oxford to private collections in London and the US.
