Mona Sultan

Born in 1979, Mona Sultan is a Syrian-Canadian visual artist based in the UK. Graduating in 2025 with a master's degree in fine arts from the City & Guilds of London Art School, her transdisciplinary training also includes graphic design, cinema, and fashion. Through collage and mixed techniques, her style is distinguished by the methodical alteration and enlargement of found photographs. By amplifying chemical wear and imperfections of the paper, she creates visual disruptions to explore the uncertainty of memory.
