ANNA PEPE (b. 1984) is a Tbilisi-based contemporary artist working across painting, drawing, and printmaking. Her work explores the sensuality and power of the feminine form, often merging classical references with experimental surfaces. Inspired by aged frescoes, ancient textures, and the quiet poetry of time, she creates bold yet contemplative compositions that blur the line between strength and fragility.
A graduate of MSU and primarily self-taught in the arts, Anna deepened her practice through courses in Italy and Belgium. Her artistic journey has been shaped by years of travel and a deep connection to Georgia, where she has lived for over a decade.
Recent solo exhibitions include Trubnaya Gallery (2024) and Cube Gallery (2023) in Moscow, as well as Hurma (2023) in Tbilisi. She has also participated in a group exhibition at Cavallerizza Reale in Turin (2023).
As an educator, she created a best-selling online course for Domestika and regularly teaches workshops on creativity and social media for artists. In 2025, she will host an immersive art retreat in Costa Brava, Spain.
