Euphrosyne Andrews
Euphrosyne's multi disciplinary practice explores the conceptual considerations of thresholds and boundaries in their broadest sense. Such separations, the partitioning of public and private space; the often assumed gendering or unseen rules of such spaces, or the inherent delimitations between the built and natural environment, are investigated within artworks that move between domestic and architectural scale, craft and commercial production.

Having grown up in rural South West England, Euphrosyne's work draws upon a relationship to the landscape as a land etched with boundaries, invisible divisions determining our ways. It offers a space to connect personal histories and interests, alongside a lens through which to question wider current geopolitical and social issues.

Euphrosyne studied Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art, before taking up a scholarship for the postgraduate programme at the Royal Drawing School. She has recently recognition from the Henry Moore Foundation and is a current recipient of Gilbert Bayes Sculpture Award from the Royal Society of Sculptors.
