LN Le Cheviller

Eclectic artist, the pearl is shared between drawing, photography, acrylic painting or engraving. This artist takes looks in a universe tinted by the abstract, delivering total freedom of creation. Nature is one of the major themes of her work but she does not resolutely give herself no limit. Animated by the arts has always been the Cheviller was born in Paris and did her artistic studies. She has lived in Charente since 1993 to be able to develop her artistic practice more freely. She explores and mixes many techniques: painting, engraving, monotype, photography, digital print, installation. She practices abstraction a lot, but can choose figuration for specific projects (the faces of prisoner children, the surface of the sea, ...). Creative and technical work of the LN The Cheviller is visually very varied, to go to Closer to the themes on which she wants to work. It makes series which can be quite important, such as the "56 paintings", concluded by the exhaustion of the subject, the medium and the chosen format. Finally, it can integrate text or photos into its painting or engravings. She was inspired by authors such as Virginia Woolf, Roland Barthes, Cormac McCarthy, Marguerite Duras.
