Installed for over 35 years in the Var, Michèle Ulmann has laid her brushes in Ollioules, city and crafts, for fifteen years. This Provence that she learned to love madly, inspires it on a daily basis. A great diversity of nuances is displayed on its paintings and the landscapes burst out colors like a ripe fruit. She has always used the oil, a material that allows her nuances, melts, a work which she describes as "sensual".
"From sketches developed in the courtyard of my walks, I tell a story, that of a place that I liked. Little inhabited, my paintings are like hacles of peace to which I aspire. When I return to the workshop, I no longer think of anything, the colors become and are my backup. I like to associate poetry with my paintings, it gives each of my paintings an evocative title. The website is very well made and easy to navigate. After choosing the art I wanted, I went ahead to buy it expecting to receive the usual emails on "your order is accepted", "your order is being processed" etc, but not the case at all! Mérédith updated me on everything - when my art is being packaged and where it is shipping from, when they have sent it out, and even tracked the shipping for me and asked if everything was fine after I have received the artwork.
