Andrea Benetti, born in 1964, stands as a prominent Italian artist renowned for his diverse talents in painting, photography, and installation art. His seminal work, the Manifesto of Neorupeste Art, unveiled in 2006, reinterprets the primal genesis of art originating from prehistoric caves, resonating within contemporary discourse. For close to two decades, Benetti has fostered collaborations with esteemed universities across Bari, Bergamo, Bologna, Ferrara, Johns Hopkins University, Lecce, Messina, Roma Tre, and Venice, propelling Neorupestre painting into esteemed university research programs.

His oeuvre graces the hallowed halls of contemporary art museums and prestigious institutional collections worldwide, including the United Nations, the Quirinale Palace, Montecitorio Palace, the Vatican, and various Italian embassies. Memorable encounters with Pope Benedict XVI in 2012 and Pope Francis in 2014 underscore the profound impact of his artistic endeavors. Benetti's biography finds a place in distinguished encyclopedias such as Treccani, De Agostini, WikiArt, and Wikipedia, reaching audiences across thirty languages.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Benetti was awarded the prestigious 49th "Nettuno d'Oro" Prize in 2020, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career. Recent exhibitions held in Bologna, London, Venice, and Milan.
