Steve Drevet, born in 1974, is a self -taught artist, photographer, designer, writer and professor of letters. After studying anthropology and literature, he spent several years in the Antilles, mainly on the island of Marie Galante. & Nbsp; he currently lives in the Eastern Pyrenees. Hypnagogy and hiking, which he has practiced from a very young age, nourish his creative approach and his artistic experiments. & Nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; in 2008, he walked for several weeks in the American West, on the traces Writers who immortalized the landscapes he crosses (Edward Abbey, Cormac McCarthy). It was during this trip that he takes a passion for photography. & Nbsp; he then travels to Europe, North Africa, Asia and Australia in search of large spaces and new images. & nbsp; in 2010, he experienced the studio photo. He begins by photographing archaeological objects for museums and foundations: statuettes, dolls, masks, from the primary art of the Americas (art Navajo, Hopi, Chancay) and & nbsp; and collector Claude Parent-Saura. & nbsp; in 2013, they worked on the island of Chamans, a photographic story which will be presented for the first time at the Visa festival for the image in Perpignan and the Collège de France in art anthropology. The book L’Île des Chamans, written by Steve Drevet, & Nbsp; will be the subject of a future publication. & nbsp; In 2014, he returned to his Catalan origins with the series & nbsp; "Els Guardians of Catalunya" inspired by heroes, vigilantes and popular superheroes. & nbsp; & nbsp; year 2016 sees the birth of the Invance undecided & nbsp; in collaboration with the artist Romaric Mandelblat. The history of art and painting are invited into compositions centered around still life. This work, devoted by numerous private and museum exhibitions (Terrus Museum, Cabestany Master Museum) and publications in the press, & nbsp; is interested in the viewer at & nbsp; confusion between painting and photography. The Creatures series, & nbsp; is a ramification. & nbsp; & nbsp; In 2022, he experienced China ink on arches paper. This is the beginning of the series "Ink et gold". Most of the drawings are made during his hikes and are enhanced with a golden glitter which he finds in certain rivers during his gold panning sessions. & nbsp; & nbsp;
