Fatola Israel is a Lagos based hyperrealist artist who specialises in portraiture. The artist pays exquisite attention to detail in his drawings, creating uncanny works that look as though they're freeze-frames from reality. Fatola aims to communicate the varying struggles of masculinity within society.

The artist trained at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and has many notable awards to his name.

Recent exhibitions of the artist’s work include: Thought Pyramid Art center, Embassy Of Spain and Afropolitan Vibes Music and Art Festival, Lagos.
