Didier Van Sprengel

Originally there is the series. For Didier Van Sprengel, to work by series is to impose constraints, but also to offer the euphoria of discovery and the unexpected. Even if the themes of his latest series may seem disparate, even antinomic, they nevertheless draw his profile and his artistic approach. "Carré Hermès", "derision", "fantasy", "frozen paper", "culture pop "," Decadence "," Sacred "," profane "," anaglyph ", these are keywords that circumscribe the universe that he likes to frequent and give to see. And at the end, there is the joy of the eye and the mind.
