Alexander Grawoig is an artist and composer studying instability as a material condition — the earth's actively shifting magnetic field, the obscurity of AI latent space, the entropy of signal moving through matter. The practice is devotional: a way to stop thinking, to stay in true nature, in union with God. The more unstable the conditions, the more stable the orientation.
Previously active under the names Deep Magic and D/P/I — the latter a sound collage project released on Shelter Press, Melting Bot and Leaving Records. Touring internationally with Sun Araw, the artist built independent labels, released work across notable underground imprints, and performed at venues such as MoMA PS1, Cafe Oto and Mutek.
Grawoig's work spans painting, sound, writing and digital media. It doesn't attempt to resolve instability, it observes and engages in it — not as analysis, but as surrender.
