Cari B, best known for her transcendent and luminous seascapes, lives in London and was born in Yorkshire. With over a decade-long career in the interior design industry, and having studied at Central Saint Martins, Cari brings a unique understanding of form and aesthetic to her work. Painting primarily in oils, her expressionistic style is evident in her representation of water and the female form—two recurring themes in her practice.

Inspired by the works of Monet, Turner and Van Gough from an early age, her travels, particularly her fascination with the sea, greatly influence her creative process; she sketches on location and takes extensive photographs to inspire her paintings. She employs an intuitive approach, using a palette knife, brushes, and even her hands to build layers of depth and texture. Cari's work is designed to uplift and inspire, offering a sense of optimism and hope.

Her distinctive style complements contemporary and traditional interiors alike and has been collected internationally, including Dubai, the USA, Ireland, and the UK. Cari is passionate about her work being shared worldwide and creating personal, lifelong connections with her collectors. She primarily sells her work through social media and takes on a limited number of commissions each year.
