Nick Smith

Nick Smith is a London based interior designer and visual artist. Nick Smith graduated with a Masters degree in product design in 2004. His work can be seen in bars, hotels and luxury ship liners around the world. He is influences are wide ranging, from Victorian etchings, the 60s pop culture, new British Artist and other media including film and photography. Much of his work concentrates on the visual effects of advertising and the impact of the commercial logo in society, this can be seen in his lettering prints and his interest in Warhol’s use of products as art. Nick’s work draws on a diverse and exciting pool of influences, he manages to take the known and move it slightly askew and into another realm.
