Laurence Perratzi
A former gymnast, Laurence Perratzi sculpts figures of poise and balance that defy gravity, caught in subtle poses or in the middle of action.
After a finance career across Hong Kong, San Francisco, London and Paris, she discovered sculpture in 2000 and devoted herself to it full time from 2005.
Working mainly in bronze, in limited editions of eight, she creates her work from her studio at Les Frigos in Paris.

Laurence Perratzi is a figurative sculptor who delves into the human form and soul, creating works that offer serenity and a sense of perspective. After a successful career in finance, living in various global cities, she transitioned to sculpture in 2001, studying under renowned artists. Her work has been exhibited internationally since 2003, gaining recognition for its emotional depth and technical skill.

Represented by galleries in New York, Montreal, Paris, and beyond, Perratzi's sculptures are also featured in prestigious locations worldwide. While primarily known for her bronze sculptures, she experiments with diverse materials, including plaster, paper, and zeechium, to explore the nuances of human experience.

Recent works, such as "Momentum" and "Flyaway," skillfully combine bronze and paper, symbolising the interplay between human strength and fragility. "Butterfly" utilises bronze and zeechium to depict themes of hope and resilience amidst darkness. Perratzi's artistic vision emphasizes the importance of perspective, the pursuit of joy, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
