Jeremy Wood is an American-born artist who uses GPS to create drawings of his journeys across land, sea and air. The artist draws maps and shapes by traversing the landscape and recording his movements. His famous ‘My Ghost’ project traces his travels around London between 2001 and 2009. We love Jeremy’s creative exploration of space and the deeper awareness his work excites about our everyday movements.

The artist, who grew up in Berlin and the UK, studied at Central Saint Martins in London. Jeremy now has studios in England and Athens. He also gives classes on GPS drawing and mapping at schools, museums and galleries.

Jeremy’s personal cartographies have been featured in over fifty exhibitions in the UK and abroad. His works are currently held in a variety of private and public collections, such as the London Transport Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
