Mattéo Nicoli, born in 2000, lives and works in Amiens. A French visual artist, he develops a contemplative approach to creation, marked by withdrawal, chosen solitude, and the silent observation of the world.

Graduated in visual arts, he remains largely self-taught, enriching his practice through experimentation. Initially attracted to graphic design, he gradually turns towards physical works centered on the motif of the window, a symbol of introspection and distance.

His works, painted with acrylic spray and sometimes enhanced with a brush, take the form of windows opening onto abstract skies. Light, space, and time are suspended there. Each piece is conceived as a whole: he builds his own supports and frames, reinforcing this idea of a threshold between inside and outside.

Through subtle gradients, inspired by the transitions from day to night, he composes calm and luminous atmospheres, conducive to escape or simple presence. His work invites one to look without interpreting, to contemplate without intervening.
