Born in 1971 in Nancy and a former student of Fine Arts, Julien Chazal very early became an independent artist. Arrived in Paris in 1997, he teaches all over France and around the world. As a professional calligrapher, many companies call on him for his innovative and creative talents: Boucheron (jeweler), Ungaro (events), Agnès b. (fashion), Rothschild, L'Oréal, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Fnac, Flammarion, Chaumet, Balenciaga, Shiseido or other references. To work on new experimental forms of contemporary Latin calligraphy and continues to exhibit regularly in France and abroad. Today recognized as one of the best calligraphs in Europe, Julien Chazal actively participates in international projects and continues to develop his research in new techniques such as lapidary engraving. He continued to teach at the high level and chaired the MOF competition for more than eight years (one of the best workers in France) Calligraphy section. Today he developed a career career with multiple aspects: watercolor painting, oil, collages and natural pigments, mixing colored abstract background, street art, calligraphy and sometimes drawing. Artist with multiple facets, he never ceases to experience sizes, instruments and supports.
